The EU General Court has reserved its position on the Council’s plea of inadmissibility, and has decided to continue the proceedings on the substance of the case before ruling on admissibility.
This was one of the ways forward we foresaw – and was our own alternative submission to the Court.
The Court has said the next step is for the Council to lodge its (substantive) defence with it by 7 January.
